Good morning... What can I get for you?Well, without going into too much detail, my final day was made special by a special group of partners at the SSC... my work group. I'll save the story for later.
As promised, a historical item goes up for sale. This pair of 24K gold-rimmed demitasse cups and saucers. How did I come across such a find you ask? Well, back in December of 1992, my manager asked me to stay late for the Holiday setup. Now this was a small kiosk... store 351, so there wasn't an enormous amount of merchandising to do, BUT, we did have to assemble all of the 4-1/2lb gift packs and put stickers on each. On my own time... because we were watching labor and all... the majority of the 12-partner store stayed to help out. As a reward, I received 4 of these cups. The other 2 cups are with a partner from my 3rd store who left the company after 8 years of service. Seemed fitting to give her 2. They are in perfect shape and have never been touched by espresso or human lips. You'll notice the old logo...
